Access to Medicine
Our flagship widening participation programme: a one-day workshop for Somali and other under-represented students thinking about a career in medicine.
Running since 2017, the programme has been held in cities across the UK, including Leicester, Birmingham and London, and has given hundreds of aspiring students from the British Somali and other under-represented communities their first close look at medicine.
Participants, typically aged 15 to 19, learn about medical school applications, life as a medical student and the realities of a career as a doctor.

- Applying to dental school and careers in dentistry.
