BSMA Travel Grant
Funding for members to attend professional meetings, complete medical electives and gain valuable learning experience.
The grant helps cover registration fees, travel and accommodation, so members can take up opportunities that build their clinical knowledge, research experience and professional networks.
Applicants show how the activity fits their career goals and the BSMA's mission of advancing medical education and healthcare in the Somali community. Preference may be given to those presenting at conferences, undertaking electives in underserved regions, or taking part in knowledge exchange and professional growth.
Successful applicants share what they learned with the BSMA community, through a short report, a presentation or a social media update.
Who can apply
- BSMA members, Full or Associate.
- Studying or working in the UK.
- Able to show how the activity supports your professional development.
