On the evening of Saturday 28 June 2025, the BSMA and Women 4 Change held a free Heart Health Workshop for men at the Women 4 Change Centre in Leicester, led by Dr Zakariye Ashkir.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death among men. The workshop covered the risks, the warning signs not to ignore, and healthy habits for stress, diet and blood pressure.
