Grateful for the space ESMC 2026 created
Grateful to the the_bsma and esmcouncil for creating such an important space at the European Somali Medical Conference 2026, and for bringing together so many voices committed to the health and wellbeing of our community.
It was a meaningful and proud moment for Hayat Counselling to contribute to conversations around mental health within the Somali community. Additionally, co-lead a workshop with salma_therapy representing somalimentalhealthnetwork exploring what it means to consider personal wellbeing when working in caring roles.
A beautiful reminder of why spaces like these matter — where culture, faith, identity and mental wellbeing can exist within the same conversation.
May we continue creating communities where strength and seeking support can coexist.
