Making healthcare work for the Somali community

One of our key priorities as somali doctors is to ensure that the current healthcare services adequately meet the needs of our somali community. To bridge this gap and to improve health awareness, the BSMA has been working on a series of health advocacy and educational events across the UK.
First up is our series of Mental Health workshops. Kicking off in Birmingham, we aim to generate a conversation about issues specific to our community, develop mental health literacy, debunk the myths and break down deep-rooted stigma.
Brought to you by British Somali Medical Association in collaboration with Birmingham and Solihull Mental health Foundation trust and Birmingham Healthy Minds. .
Join the conversation and BE A PART OF THE CHANGE! .
