The BSMA Poetry Prize at Somali Week Festival
The BSMA partnered with Somali Week Festival to sponsor the BSMA Poetry Prize, for the best submission or performance on the theme of mental health and the Somali community, at the festival's poetry evening at the Southbank Centre in October 2019.
It was a chance to celebrate a new generation of Somali artistic talent while continuing our work to raise mental health awareness in the community, alongside the launch of our community mental health programme that same week.
